Adulting

We’re a group of exceptional individuals – each brilliant at what we do, responsible to our peers, keen to learn and grow, hard-working, and highly effective collaborators.

We want to build a team of adults who work collectively in pursuit of ambitious goals – it is with such a team that you learn the most, perform your best work, improve the fastest, and have the most fun.

This is what it is to be an adult, at least highly functioning one!

Informed Captains

We don’t let leaders become bottlenecks, our approach helps create leaders. At CLA we’re going to appoint a ‘captain’ responsible for every significant decision – a captain of the ship who makes a judgment call after sharing and digesting others’ views – always based on the best interest of the company and our client.

We do not design, decide or define by committee or by just one individual. This can slow us down, and we’re always nimble.

Freedom & Responsibility

Our goal is to inspire, not manage people. We trust our colleagues to do what they think is best for CLA and her interests — giving them freedom, power, and information in support of their decisions. This in turn, generates a sense of responsibility and self-discipline that drives us to do great work that benefits the company.

We will create a sense of ownership so that this behaviour comes naturally.
